Dark Elf Castings is casting QVC inspired TV show TestDrive. It will be shooting in Orlando weekly starting Oct 12th. Please submit your headshots, resume, and hosting reel to [email protected]. Please also include which hosting category you are wanting to be considered for. Again if you do not have a hosting reel please submit an acting reel with your submission. Casting ASAP so submit at your earliest convenience. Submissions need to be in by Monday September 25th.

All roles paid. You must be willing to work as a local Hire in Orlando.

TestDriveLive is our 24/7 Livestream Shopping Channel or (LSS), also known as live eCommerce, live shopping, and live selling, where the customer can make purchases in real-time, while a video and host, reviewing products, is streaming live.

TestDriveLive provides social proof to potential customers that marketing materials like a website or advertisements can’t provide. The reactions are authentic and show someone’s actual experience with the product. While those marketing materials are important, social proof is convincing and communicates a customer’s experience with the item.

These will not be live at first. They will be recorded and then streamed live. We will evolve into true live streaming at some point, but there is no date set on that yet.

TestDrive.live Talent requirements:

4-hour shoot day (weekly)
2 hour in person (possibly remote) pre-production meetings (weekly)
The ability to follow the teleprompter with product bullet points, improvise, and be entertaining on some level.
Show segments: Open box, try the product while giving details (bullet points), and give a prewritten product review.
This show will be branded to them if they would like to build their personal brand.
We will film on weekends and/or nights to accommodate current employment.

Dark Elf Castings is casting a Valencia College Short Film called “Sole Survivor”. Filming will take place in the Orlando area and at Valencia College East Campus the week of Feb 21st. Please submit your headshots, resume, monologue and/or reel to [email protected]. Please also include which role you are wanting to be considered for. Again if you do not have a reel please submit a dramatic or comedic 1-3 minute monologue with your submission. Casting ASAP so submit at your earliest convenience. The short film, Sole Survivor, opens with a rich tapestry of sounds in various locations. We

experience this soundscape through a man referred to only as The Artist. Sole Survivor follows The Artist, experiences the world through his ears and eyes as he tries on and purchases a

strange collection of footwear - cowboy boots, women’s dancing shoe with a sturdy heels and

pink stilettos – eventually following him to a recording studio where he performances the

sounds of a superhero film as the production’s Foley artist.



Character Breakdown:



Saleswoman - (Female, 20's - 30's) She is very helpful, very hip. She knows shoes. She loves shoes. She also has a strong personality, which can come off alternately as gregarious, sassy, challenging.

MissFit – (Female, 20’s – 30’s) A superhero who looks like a fitness trainer for Nike. She throws spinning kicks, punches and throws, as if she was performing a powerful and violent high-intensity workout. She appears in the movie within the movie – the production for which our Foley artist performs the sounds. Provides own Superhero wardrobe options. Someone with some fight choreography experience preferred.

Guy - (Male, 20’s and up) A helpful production assistant who works in the sound studios.

Muscle Bound Thugs x2 - (Male, 20’s – 40’s) Villains who appear in the movie within a movie - they are taken down by our superhero character. Someone with some fight choreography experience preferred.

Cowboys x2 – (Male, 20’s and up) Typical cowboys that one would see in a classic Western film. These role will provide their own Cowboy wardrobe options.

Waltz Partner – (Male, 40’s – 70’s) A very dignified man. Someone who looks like he might hold a title in an Eastern bloc country. Dance experience preferred

Updates: It's been a while since we posted because life has been crazy! First we would like to say that we have a picture lock on "The Breaking Point". We also finished Meka Nisms music video "Bring Da Sun Back" and now are co-producing Bryan Boykins film "Watchman's Edict" starring Reggie Peters. Also Jeremy Wood has been mad busy with Howler's Theatre. We Dark Elf Films want to thank all of you for continuing to be a fan and helping us grow!

Much needed update: We at Dark Elf have been very busy. We just finished shooting with DeMarco Films the "Crazy for your Love" Music Video and the 48 Hour Music Film Festival. We have T E C H N O P O L I S and Breaking Point Movie coming up in May and also doing a music video for Meka Nism and a collaboration video Team Zoic. So how is everyone else doing?
