: Loose Leaf Pick Up Notice

🍁ℹ️ Citizens of Anniston, please be advised that bagged leaves are now collected by 121 Disposal as part of your bulk pick-up. However, the City of Anniston, Alabama Street Department continues to collect loose leaf piles. To help our crews work safely and efficiently, please follow these guidelines:

1️⃣ Place loose leaves at the edge of your yard—not in the gutter. Leaves in the gutter cause drainage issues, and leaves placed too far from the curb cannot be reached by the truck.

2️⃣ Create one consolidated pile. A single, well-formed pile allows crews to collect leaves faster and more safely.

3️⃣ Keep materials separate. Loose leaves should be in their own pile. Brush, limbs, or household garbage placed on top prevents the leaf truck from accessing your leaves.

Help us bring a little extra comfort to our neighbors this winter. We’re collecting new socks and gloves for those in need, and every donation, big or small, helps brighten the colder months for someone in our community.

You can drop off items at the Main Library, The Carver Branch Library of the Bookmobile during regular hours. Thank you for helping us share the warmth this season!
