Ainsleigh Pocock ’22 worked the red carpet at the Annapolis Film Festival this year, interviewing directors, actors, and even the Mayor of Annapolis, Gavin Buckley. Mastering the art of an interview is certainly a skillset that will prove quite useful when she heads to Virginia Tech in the fall to study graphic design and communications.

“I am interested in many different areas of communications — design, film, marketing — I really want to learn the basics about everything, and then narrow my focus from there,” she explained of her plans after graduation. She also plans to apply for the Disney College Program her junior year, which offers on-the-job experience. “I’m interested in gaining logistical and project management experience and Disney offers some great opportunities.”
