Bryan Russo with Ryan Abbott accepts his Gold Award for The Opener, from Journos' album In the Key of WTF! Their song Tangier was also nominated and received an honorable mention at the Songwriters' Association awards today. Bob could not be more proud!

The critical acclaim that "In the Key of WTF!" has garnered is really amazing for our local boys Bryan and Ryan, and we couldn't be happier here at BTORG Records!

Bob says: “Check out these two dudes this Friday, 6pm, at Burn. I’ll be releasing a co-written single from them this year. Then I’ll eat them. They taste like the pretzels you dropped in between the seat in your car and the center console last year.”

Running a small label can sometimes feel like a beautiful chaotic mess. However, there are moments where the industry sends you a nod and you think to yourself "Man, we must be doing something right." Rabbits Anonymous and the Suite of the Elephant Man is now being played on over 100 radio stations in the USA and Canada! The biggest BTORG thank you to the following radio stations for giving Rabbits Anonymous and their debut album some extra airway love.

Bob is elated to see the radio gods seem to like Rabbits as much as he does. ;)

Big few weeks for Bob: Label headliners Journos nab the coveted opening spot for the sold out Steve Miller Band show at Freeman Arts Pavilion in DE, with Bryan and Ryan doing an acoustic set in support. Their hilarious Dirty Money music video has over 50,000 views on YouTube! Meanwhile, Rabbits Anonymous made the NACC Chart with their single Quick Hide The W**d! Made the College Radio Charts at the end of May, and debuted on the indie AMA chart at #226! Only a few weeks in, and "Rabbits Anonymous and the Suite of the Elephant Man is being played on over 60 terrestrial radio stations, and the awesome QHTW video has 60,000 views.

Bob says venture yourselves to the Globe in Berlin, Md. on Friday the 13th in January so he can eat you ... err, her mean, meet you and share some of this delicious vinyl he's been snacking on. We had a big YouTube promotion lined up for this great new video from Rabbits Anonymous, but Google has rejected our promos saying that this video contains content that is "inappropriate and shocking." Are you kidding?!?
Bob is PI**ED! Not only has he seen more shocking content on a Saturday morning cartoon, but this may be the most mainstream thing Rabbits Anonymous will ever do! So, you can go watch yet another trap video full of violence and misogyny, or you can watch this absolute gem! Bob is thrilled to present: "Quick! Hide The W**d."

BTORG Records

Bob The Organism Records (aka BTORG Records) is run by artists, for artists.

The goal is to take the best local, all-original acts and help them gain exposure beyond their backyards. This is done by using our long-time industry contacts to get terrestrial radio adds, digital playlist adds by actual humans who have real followers, and a variety of other real-world methods. To this end, and so we can focus all of our efforts effectively - we only work with a few artists at a time.

BTORG Records generally does not take submissions. Affiliation is by invitation only.
