Update on Steve Hornbeak Productions.
This past 2 months have been very busy at the studio and i wanted to share some on the things we have been doing.
I have been recording keyboards and doing background vocals for a crazy list of artist right here in downtown Anna at the studio. Here is a list of just the past 2 months of artist i've done tracks for:

I'm also producing a radio show on WIBH 102.5FM and 1440AM called Friday Night Lights Entertainment Hour that is recorded live at my studio. I host the show and feature a different local music guest every Friday night at 7pm on WIBH. We talk about how they got their start, goals snd find out where they will be performing. They will perform 8 to 10 songs on the show and sometimes i get to play along on keyboards! It's a great way to promote the local music scene.
I am also taking on more students everyday. A goal of mine is to have the premier music school for those who want to be in a band, learn to play songs at all skill levels, and help musicians get to the next level. Still looking for teachers to help this grow.
I'm also looking for the right venue to start my music festival's like i use to do at Rustle Hill with multiple local bands and solo acts. I take care of everything, you just provide the venue. Send a message if interested.

I just finished recording and editing Sam Kuhnert's audio book "Game Changer". I am so impressed with this young man and his amazing story. Please look up his web page to find out more about him. You will be as impressed as i am. He's a Southern Illinois boy and now has a world wide foundation called NubAbility Athletics Foundation. You HAVE TO look it up to find out more.

Today I finished my tracks for a project that SIXWIRE is working on for an iconic artist that i can't name at this time. Please don't mention who it is if you know. The pic on the right is the rest of the fellas in Nashville recording their parts. I recorded my keyboards and vocals here at Steve Hornbeak Productions in Downtown Anna. I'm getting to cut tracks for some pretty big names here at my studio including Steve Augeri, former lead singer of JOURNEY, country artist Lauren Alaina, Charles Esten who played Deacon on the TV series Nashville and about to start another project with multiple artists!

Have you heard of the Nashville Number System? Without knowing this it would be hard to ever get a touring gig with a big artist or become a Nashville session player. I've had people say to me," oh I know the number system with the 1's 4's and 5's". If thats what you know you have a long way to go. You need to know quickly what the numbers are in every key, and be very quick at it, know the abbreviations and symbols and be able to play a song you've never heard just by reading a number chart.
I've been living by this system for over 30 years touring with artist and would love to teach you. Even if you think you know it, this would be a great class for you. If you are a band and you want to learn songs quicker, the whole band should take this class. It would be perfect for Praise bands to learn quickly.
I would like to give a 2 hour introductory class for $30 per person. My normal rate is $30 for half hour and $50 for an hour. This is a great deal. I need 10 people to sign up to have a group class. Once we have 10 people we will set the date. Please send me a message if interested.
There will be more classes coming soon. I am taking on piano students now, plus a very cool opportunity to learn to chart, play, engineer, produce and record your own song at our studio. A very unique opportunity that will help you understand the whole recording process.
