Founded in 2003, MJPA is the student-run journal of the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. MJPA is the student-run journal of the Gerald R.

Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. The journal was founded by Ford School graduate students in 2003 and is funded by the Dean’s office. Membership on MJPA’s editorial board is open to current Ford School graduate students and the journal is supervised by the faculty of the Ford School. Articles for the MJPA are solicited from graduate and professional students from all ove

r the United States and internationally, as well as policy practitioners and academics. Submissions are related to numerous policy areas such as economics, social policy, public administration, international development, political science, and the law. The articles are evaluated in light of their relevance as a contribution to an important policy debate and originality, as well as writing quality and style.

And we're off! 🎉 We are excited to announce the newest editor cadre of the Michigan Journal of Public Affairs - MJPAMichigan Journal of Public Affairs is officially soliciting articles for Volume 21. We contact ~400 organizations across the globe, and our list grows every year! However, our contact list is not exhaustive. If you or someone you know is interested in submitting an article for consideration in this volume, please reach out. Submissions are due January 10, 2025.

MJPA staff and editors are all current graduate students at the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. We accept submissions of quality writing and research on any policy-relevant topics from graduate students, academics, researchers, and professionals for consideration in our annual publication.
