I called her away from the ice multiple times before this… looked away for 2 seconds and bam she’s out there again and she falls through.. I was a little annoyed but, I’d rather us both be wet and safe!

Story time.. I shot this goose, threw it behind the blind. About five minutes later, Piper starts throwing a fit in her blind… and I’m so confused why because she’s normally super mellow in her blind.. so I’m thinking maybe she has to go to the bathroom. I release her out of her blind. She bolts out to the decoys, turns around and sprints out to the field behind me.. so I get up and notice the goose is gone that’s why she was upset because she knew it was running off.. long story short, the goose made it all the way across the field I was in, across the ditch, across the road and across the next field into the fence before Piper tracked it down. Wild night🤦‍♂️
