The Town recently installed a public bicycle repair station and tire pump on Park Street next to Old Town Hall. The station includes wrenches, hex keys, and other common tools needed for simple bike repairs, as well as a QR code linking to repair instructions.

The repair station was funded through a Shared Streets grant previously received by the Town, and complements other bicycle amenities in the recently completed Downtown Parking project, including eight bike stands/parking spots at the corner of Bartlet Street and Punchard Street.

Library staff, with funding and support from the Friends, put together a fun storytime scarecrow as part of the ACE Scarecrow Festival!

This year’s theme is “things that make you smile” and library storytimes and other library programs do just that!

Join us on Saturday, October 26 for the first ever "Pizza, Pooches, Pumpkins and Pours" from 12 - 4 PM behind Old Town Hall, 20 Main Street.

Attendees will enjoy pizza, beer and wine available for purchase. A Dog Costume Parade will take place at 12 PM, and the White Street Band will perform from 2 - 4 PM. Games, pumpkin decorating and more will be available for kids throughout the event.
