The APA family lost an absolute gem this morning with the passing of Grace Villarreal. Grace, from Hoonah, was the longest tenured director on the board of Inside Passage Electric Cooperative (IPEC), joining in 2010. Her smiling face and sweet disposition brightened up all the APA meetings she attended over the years.

APA sends our sincere condolences to Grace's family and friends and the staff and board of IPEC.

APA Executive Director Crystal Enkvist joined other APA members on a CEO panel today as part of the NWPPA/APA Alaska Electric Utility Conference. The panel addressed a range of issues facing Alaska's electric utilities, with perspectives from different parts of the state.
