Don't forget: Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend. Back in March, we "sprang forward." That means on this Sunday, November 3rd -- it'll be time for us to fall back one hour. So before you go to bed on Saturday night, make sure you change any of your clocks that won't automatically adjust to the time change. Emergency responders say it's always a good time to check your smoke detectors, too!

More money is coming to two Alaska ports. The EPA announced this week that over $47 million will go to the Don Young Port of Alaska here in Anchorage and the Port of Seward.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Cool air has lingered around longer than expected allowing for mostly snowfall across the area. Precipitation will most likely remain as snow. Freezing rain cannot be ruled out this afternoon and evening. Any precipitation that remains will likely be all snow after midnight tonight. Reports (as of 4 PM) of 3 to 8 inches of snow have been reported. 6.2 inches measured at the NWS Anchorage office.
