Cranesville Block Company, Inc. has IMMEDIATE openings for Ready Mix Truck Drivers. If you do not have ready mix experience, we will provide training.

Summary: Drivers will be responsible for the safe operation of company mixer trucks, to include loading, unloading, and cleaning .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver quality product to the customer in efficient, timely and professional manner.
Drives truck under loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water and starts mixer.
Drives truck to location for unloading.
Moves levers on truck to release concrete down truck chute into wheelbarrow or other conveying container or directly into area to be poured with concrete.
Cleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck.
Sprays surfaces of truck with protective compound to prevent adhering of concrete.
Assembles cement chute.
Traveling to other plant locations.
Misc. projects - helping around the yard as needed.
May operate loader.
Work with in all safety procedures.
Comply with all company policies.
DVIR's daily and Log books.
Complete delivery ticket with necessary information.
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Preferably driven off-road equipment, log truck, concrete mixer and/or boom truck.
Six months - One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Guidelines for CDL Applicants:

No DOT preventable accidents in the last five (5) years.
No more than three (3) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accident that resulted in injury or death in the last three years.
No DWI or DUI in the last five (5) years.
No positive results to the Drug and Alcohol Testing requirements of 49 CFR Part 40.
No more than five (5) points on your license at the time of this application.
*You need to have the following items in order for your application to be processed:*

NYS CDL license
Current DOT Medical Examiner Certificate
Phone numbers and addresses for the past three (3) years of employment.
