21 Year Old Steven Smith Jr of Prairie was arrested on December 30th, 2024 and has been charged with the following:

15 Counts of Sexual Battery of a Child
2 Counts of Production of Child Po*******hy

Smith also has a prior indictment (2020) in Monroe County for another s*x offense.

Smith's Bond was set at $1,700,000.

HIs case is still under investigation by MCSO SVU Investigators.

Corey Cortez Bell of White Rock Rd turned himself in to MCSO Investigators on January 6, 2025 after warrants were issued for his arrest.
He has been charged with 2 counts of Kidnapping and 1 count of R**e stemming from an alleged incident on Dec 17th at his home in Monroe County.
Neither victim was from the Monroe County area; however, they traveled to Monroe County with Bell when the alleged incident took place.
This case is still under investigation by MCSO SVU Investigators.
Bell's Bond has been set at $100,000 and he also is being held by MDOC.
