Dear Melissa
My wife is mad at me. Last Friday, I went out with the guys to a local bar. One of my wife's friends must have walked in and then out because she saw me dancing with another woman and told my wife about it. This led to a huge fight over the weekend. My wife says I cheated on her because I danced with another woman. I told her I had a couple of beers and ended up on the dance floor. Nothing happened after that. She says you don't dance with a member of the opposite s*x if you're married. Is dancing cheating? I have apologized even though I don't feel I've done anything wrong.

Sad update on this Amarillo toy store!

At the end of August, a toy store here in Amarillo had a fire. The crazy part is they really don't know what started it. The thought is that during a storm we had lightening struck. That lightening caused Unique Toys on Hillside to close due to the fire.

My fiance and I are in the final stages of our marital counseling. On Monday night, we hit a snag with our counselor. We were talking about compromise when my fiance said we will make all of our decisions together because the relationship should be 50/50. I disagreed. He was stunned when I did. I told our counselor that I believe the breadwinner in a relationship should have the final say in all important decisions. In our case, I'm the breadwinner and believe I should have the final say on all important decisions. My fiance does not agree with that. He says great relationships work because they are 50/50. I believe that and also believe that the breadwinner should have the final say. Where do you stand on this?

My daughter is a senior in high school and wants to fly to Mexico with her girlfriends. I said absolutely no way, but my husband has given her permission to go so we are deadlocked. I don't think teenage girls should be running around Mexico without any parental supervision. My husband says he trusts our daughter's judgment because she hasn't done anything to make us think she's going to get in trouble. Would you allow her to go if you were us? Dear Melissa
I can't believe I got written up at work yesterday for a dress issue. Someone complained because I was wearing a button-down shirt that had three buttons open. I feel I'm being discriminated against. How is it okay that 75% of the women in the office wear low-cut tops or dresses and don't get in trouble yet I wear a button-down shirt with three buttons open and now my job is in jeopardy? I think this is a double standard. My HR Director went off the record and told me that someone didn't like my hairy chest showing. Am I being discriminated against? Is there a double standard in the office? Should women in the office be getting written up as well?
