Thought I would update our situation…We are ok …Our fence is gone…LOTS of tree damage… trees and limbs broken and down… gutters gone… water blew in under the patio doors… the pond is overflowing and water is almost up to the back gate....our power is off and probably will be for a day or 2 (I doubt it will be 13 days like it was in hurricane Ike)….the pump house door is broken in half, but it’s very cool at the moment and the birds are singing. My family is ok …My studio and Tommy’s shop are ok and we can cook on the grill … we are very good compared to some…so thank You Lord!

Dear Lord, we know that you are always with us and that you are our strength and refuge in times of trouble. We ask for your protection as hurricane Beryl moves toward us. We thank you for your protection for anyone in its path. We ask you to shield our families, homes and communities. Thank you for the peace that passes all understanding that only You can give.
Help us to make wise decisions. Lord help us find comfort in You- to feel your presence, and your protection. We believe we receive all we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen

Wednesday’s Word- Remember- We should remember that we are not alone in anything… We may not have answers for things(we will one day), but whatever we face we know we won’t be alone! The bible tells us in many places to remember God’s goodness…Psalm 103:1-2 tells us not to forget any of God’s benefits. Hey, hey everyone. I won’t be going live today for Wednesday’s Word. I am not feeling very well (since last night). So I thought I would share a short replay of me adding color to one of my newer pen & ink designs using Media Acrylic paints.

Wednesdays Word- competition Hey, hey y’all, I wanted to share this behind the scenes of the 3rd day at the Santa Gertrudis Jr Nationals in Gonzales Texas with you earlier , but the wifi wasnt working and I had to wait…. Anyway… update to this video… my grand daughter won Reserve Champion in her division for Showmanship… How awsome! What does competition mean in your world… this week and most of the time it means cattle, cattle and cattle… wouldn’t trade it for anything!
