Our orders are picking up as the new school year is approaching. Call us at 270.746.6651 to ask us any questions you may have about our curriculum.
A common question we receive is, "What is the difference between the 1st Edition and 2nd Edition of the Spectrum Chemistry Book?" or "Can I use the 1st Edition in a class where the other students have a 2nd Edition." To answer the first question, the only difference is the cover design and the design on the inside, just making it more modern. ALL THE CURRICULUM IS THE SAME. Therefore it is ok to use. As far as the second question is concerned, you CAN use the 1st Edition book in a class setting where other students have the 2nd Edition Textbook, Lab-Workbook, and Teachers Helper. BUT, to make it easier on your child we would recommend purchasing the 2nd Edition Lab and Teachers Helpers Book since the other students have that and if your child is part of a lab group it would be easier to follow along, but you can still use the 1st Edition Textbook.
Hope this may be helpful to some of you all who aren't quite sure if the book you have is appropriate.
