We would like to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out to help clean up the trails in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton🌀. Over 500 volunteer hours were logged in 36 days!!

We’d also like to give Lee County Parks & Recreation staff and the hard working community of volunteers for making the Summer of 2024 the shortest wet season closure of MTB Trails at Caloosahatchee Regional Park on record!

We’re stoked to build some cool features with Tarpon Coast Composite MTB Team this weekend! Come on out for the Blue Loop - Flow Section (Saturday 11/2) work day and meet these awesome little shredders!

There's still time to join the team! Open to all students in 6-12 grade🚴 Meet some student-athletes and coaches at our preseason event this Sat, Nov 2nd, 830am-12pm. A Trail Maintenance Day w/ FL Mudcutters! Did you know FL Mudcutter Volunteers donate over 2000 hours every year to help build and maintain the bike trails at CRP. It's amazing and our team is so lucky to have their support! Our team is honored to participate in NICA's Teen Trail Corps(TTC). TTC cultivates community as we foster the next generation of trail stewards and advocates. This preseason event is a great time to help give back to the community and obtain some volunteer hours. Come meet some existing student athletes and coaches and have some fun maintaining the trails we ride!

Volunteers should wear work attire, long sleeve shirts, pants, and closed toed shoes. We have 40% DEET bug spray, so if you prefer a different bug spray please bring it with you. Volunteers should also bring a water bottle and snacks.

Meet us at the Caloosahatchee Regional Park Campground, 19110 N River Rd, https://maps.app.goo.gl/c2ZJQ5Zj96wiscjV6. We'll gather there and complete a group sign-in for Lee County Parks and Recreation. See you there!!

We made great progress at Caloosahatchee Regional Park this weekend and would like to extend a huge thank to everyone who’s been volunteering! We wouldn’t be this far without your help!

That being said, there is still ALOT more work that needs to be done before LCPR can open the park. We have prepared a trail map showing the known major problem areas and some work days. The more people that show up to help, the more work we can finish, and the sooner we can get back to riding!

Who’s coming out to Caloosahatchee Regional Park this weekend to help get the trail closer to opening?! Our volunteers were hard at work this week trimming low canopy. There’s about 3 miles of debris to pick up!

‼️ CRP NEEDS YOUR HELP ‼️

Some huge progress was made last weekend but we still have about 2.7 miles of heavy trimming and debris removal that needs to be completed (estimated at +/- 125 more volunteers hours). The water has receded significantly since Milton and should be gone soon so long as the rain holds off.

Opening day for the Caloosahatchee Regional Park Mountain Bike Trails will be entirely contingent upon volunteer turnout. Please consider attending a work day so we can all get back on our bikes!

All work days will launch from the campground parking lot. Please RSVP.
