Adam’s first episode aired in 2020 and focused a lot on his participation in the Black Lives Matter movement and other community causes. Adam is a Tribal member of the Navajo Nation. He is the Tribal Affairs Director at Oregon Department of Human Services. One aspect of Adam that always sparked my curiosity is how he keeps his work separate from his culture. We talked about that separation but also how he opens up his culture to other people. An example of this is his involvement in the Indigenous People Paddle Day.
