The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Aug. 12-16. All work is weather permitting.
On Thursday, Aug. 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., a flagging operation has been scheduled on Route W between Main St. and Third St. in Alma for drainage work.

The guys have been setting things up for you all since early this morning! 🥰

A few things to note:
⭐️ The firework display will be closer to 9:45ishhhh! We need it to be dark enough to see the show! 🤩

⭐️THE MARINA ON MAIN STREET IS CLOSED! Waverly has 2 marinas, use the other for putting in boats please, and do not pass the signs. This is for your safety because the marina is where the fireworks are being shot from.

⭐️We are unsure of what to expect for tonight’s turn out, but we do know parking is extremely limited. Recommended to drive side by sides for locals! And just be courteous of each other.

‼️We made a tough decision as we’ve been pushing so hard to keep things as is, but unfortunately the weather is not planning to work in our favor at all. To be able to set everything up, we need the majority of the day and no rain! We tried to make this decision as quickly as possible. The day will be the same, just moved to Friday, July 5, 2024! ‼️

LAFAYETTE COUNTY
U.S. Highway 24 at Washington Rd. in Waverly: full closure on Mon., April 22, from approximately 8 am until 4 pm, for culvert replacement work.
