The holiday season is the perfect time to teach children about the importance of giving to those who are less fortunate.

A Christmas Giving Jar would be a great way to get them in the giving spirit. The family can add spare change until the jar is full. Then, donate the money to a family in need, or an organization like Operation Christmas Child, or Angel Tree.

A jar of change may not seem like much, but for someone who may not otherwise receive a gift, it means everything.
