Robert Downey Jr. says "I intend to sue all future executives" who create a digital replica of him through AI or deepfake technology. And when he's dead? "My law firm will still be very active."

“The idea that somehow [AI] belongs to them because they have these super huge start-ups is a fallacy,” Downey says about figures like OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. “The problem is when these individuals believe that they are the arbiters of managing this but meanwhile are wanting and/or needing to be seen in a favorable light. That is a massive f*cking error. It turns me off and makes me not want to engage with them because they are not being truthful.”

At the annual Bank of America Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference, Vinciquerra said Hollywood is in for “chaos” over the next two years. He predicted the industry is in for a wave of “mergers and bankruptcies and sales and all kinds of fun things,” and that only the biggest companies will survive. Unless, that is, those giants “make some massive mistake or miscalculation” along the way.

Vinciquerra is certainly not the first media executive to predict more consolidation in Hollywood, but he may be the one using the most-damning language.
