Thank you to the Algona Area Chamber of Commerce for the kind words.

For four years, Bernie and Gary Merrill have led A2Z Broadcasting with a strong commitment to local news, community connection, and hometown pride. Through KLGA and KLGZ, they continue to keep Algona and Kossuth County informed, entertained, and connected — sharing everything from local stories and sports to weather updates and community happenings. Their dedication to local broadcasting continues to make a meaningful impact on our community every day.

At this week’s Chamber Business Coffee, owners Bernie and Gary shared heartfelt thanks to their family and friends — and most of all, to the community for supporting A2Z Broadcasting through the years. They also gave a special thank-you to their incredible staff, whose dedication spans from 5 to 54 years of service and truly forms the backbone of the station.

The Chamber Ambassadors also presented a Congeniality Award to Tyler Lance, the station’s sports reporter, in recognition of the extra effort and care he brings to his work. Tyler goes above and beyond with his sports knowledge and his genuine commitment to serving the community.

Thank you to A2Z Broadcasting for hosting and to everyone who helped make this celebration a great one!
