Who’s Made a Difference in Your Life This Year?

♥️Let’s take a moment to think about that one person who’s been there for you this year. While we all have many people we’re grateful for, let’s focus on just one for now.

When God Answers Beyond What We Could Imagine

🙏🏽A few months ago, my husband Angel and I prayed for something personal:

1️⃣ A Christian community where we could grow spiritually and share life together.
2️⃣ Connection with at least one Christian couple with whom we can pray and befriend with
3️⃣ A couple who also except a child like us. This one sounded like a bold and specific prayer but God blew our mind.

✝️We were invited to join a local Bible study group AKA Life Group at our church The District Church

😮To our surprise, we met Ruth and Kelvin—a Christian couple from Kenya also expecting their first child, with a due date just five days apart from ours!

🎂 Last week, on my birthday, Angel and I attended their baby shower. Even if I didn’t celebrate my birthday in the traditional sense this year, being part of such a meaningful moment made it unforgettable.

🫶🏾It s a blessing to walk this journey of faith and parenthood alongside these two faithful followers of Christ.

Does Showing Up Always Feel Easy?

🙏🏽 Not at all! In this picture, one of us had to convince the other to go to the gym. But we showed up, got it done, and walked away stronger—with no regrets.

🙏🏽To the Men Who Love Well — Thank you!!!

🥹 Men often get a bad reputation—irresponsible, immature, or caught up in vices. But today, I want to celebrate the men who step up and love well, especially my dear husband.

♥️ He’s not perfect, but he’s a gift from the Lord to me. He prays for me daily, helps with chores, surprises me without waiting for special occasions,, and reminds me I’m beautiful everyday— even when I’m a mess.

🤰🏽Now that I’m pregnant, he is the one who ties my shoes, helps me get dressed, rubs my sore body, and even puts lotion on my legs because I can’t reach them anymore.

😭Today, when I was overwhelmed with work, he cooked for me because he knows how much I love that, kissed me at my desk, and wiped my tears. These little acts of service mean everything.

✝️To the men loving their families like Christ loves the church: thank you. To the single women waiting—good men exist. Trust God’s timing and don’t settle. Well, you don’t have to agree with me, but that’s fine. I’m only sharing my opinion.

♾️To my husband, thank you for loving me the way you do. I love you so much, and I’m thankful to our Lord for you.

Do Everything for the Glory of God

✝️The Bible says, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).

♥️Whether we’re single or married, honor God, be faithful in small things, speak life, and reflect God’s love in your actions.

🤔Ask yourself today: Am I doing this for my glory or His? Let every moment be an act of worship.

❓What’s one way you’ll glorify God today? For us, we’ll glorify God by teaching our newborn to love, act, and think like Jesus as much as we can—with the hope of doing so alongside supportive Christian communities like The District Church.

Prayer for Partners Facing Hidden Struggles

Dear God,

♥️ We pray for all wives, husbands, and partners in the world who are carrying hidden burdens. Whether it’s a health challenge, financial hardship, or silent battles with fear and uncertainty, we pray that You meet them right where they are.

💰For those facing financial struggles, remind them, Lord, that You are the God who provides. Open doors of opportunity, grant them wisdom in their decisions, and bring hope where there seems to be lack.

😍For those dealing with health issues—physical, emotional, or mental—pour out Your healing touch. Give them peace beyond understanding and strength to face each day. Surround them with the right people to encourage and support them during these trials.

🥺 For those silently battling stress or exhaustion,, remind them that Your grace is sufficient. Let them find rest in Your presence and renewed joy in the love they share with their partner.

🙏🏽Father, we pray for Your provision, Your healing, and Your peace to rest on every couple navigating unseen struggles. Strengthen their hearts, deepen their trust in You, and remind them that no burden is too heavy for Your shoulders.

🙏🏽 A Prayer for Those Facing Miscarriage, Child Loss, or Infertility

🫶🏾 Lord, today we lift up couples who know the heartache of miscarriage, the struggle with infertility, and the unexpected trials of health and loss. As those who have felt this deep ache, we understand the weight of their journey. Please draw them close and comfort them in their pain.

🥺 When discouragement settles in, lift their spirits. When loneliness feels overwhelming, draw near to them. Surround them with people who will support them in love and prayer. Even when life doesn’t look like they dreamed, remind them that Your plans still hold purpose.

✝️ In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your pregnancy is yours alone - Don’t compare!!

⚠️Whether you’re currently expecting or hoping to have children someday, remember: no two pregnancy journeys are the same. Each one of us has a unique story.

🤷🏽‍♀️My journey has had many challenges despite me loving my baby so much.

👇🏽It’s not taboo for me to say morning sickness & heartburn took a toll in my first trimester. Placenta issues, sciatica, and back pain brought new hurdles in later months. And now, being far from family, alongside grief and loss, added emotional weight. Thank God my husband has been such an amazing sweetheart. What a fantastic support system!

♥️If you’re on this path, know you’re not alone. Lean into your support system, and remember every pregnancy is different – comparing to others only adds unnecessary pressure. Give yourself grace – it’s okay to struggle and to ask for help.

🙏🏽To all mothers and mothers-to-be, I’m praying you cherish the unique story you’re creating.
