Are you facing challenges that seem insurmountable? Take heart, and walk by faith! When we trust in God and step out in obedience, He can do incredible things in our lives. Don't let fear or doubt hold you back. Instead, focus on God's promises and step out in faith, even when it feels uncomfortable or risky. Remember that walking by faith requires patience, and that God's timing is not always our timing. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will lead you on the path that is best for you. ~ With Love Torrie

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Have you ever felt like something is missing in your life? Like you're searching for something more but you can't quite put your finger on it? In Mark 10:21, Jesus says to a rich young man, 'Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.'

What I find so powerful about this verse is Jesus' call to the young man to let go of his possessions and follow him. Jesus knew that the young man's wealth was a barrier to him fully experiencing the joy and fulfillment that comes from following Jesus. Jesus was not calling the young man to poverty, but to a life of radical obedience and trust in him.

This verse challenges us(me) to examine our own lives and ask ourselves what may be holding us back from fully following Jesus. Is it our possessions, our status, our relationships, or something else? Whatever it may be, let us be willing to surrender it to Jesus and trust him to lead us on the path of true fulfillment and joy.
May we all have the courage and faith to follow Jesus wherever he leads us.
