July 15, 7 a.m. -- Firefighters battling the Las Conchas fire have been working at night, when winds are calmer, to improve the perimeter that has held the fire at 150,000 acres. Any visible smoke is coming from work on preventive burns. They now have the fire more than 60 percent contained. This
