Graham Greene is an Oneida Native American actor from Canada. He is known for his roles in notable films, such as The Green Mile, Thunderheart, Wind River and Dances with Wolves.

He was even nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Dances with Wolves. He was born in Ohsweken, a Six Nations (Iroquois) Reserve in Ontario, but later moved to Hamilton where he got a lot of experience with the entertainment industry. Graham started work as an audio technician and later graduated from the Toronto-based Centre for Indigenous Theatre's Native Theatre School program in 1974. He made his TV debut in an episode of The Great Detective in 1979, and his first movie role in Running Brave (1983). Graham played many Native Americans in movies, such as Ishi (The Last of His Tribe), Walter Crow Horse (Thunderheart), Arlen Bitterbuck (The Green Mile), Sitting Bull (Historica). He also narrated Tecumseh! and voiced the Native American elder Chief Rains Fall in the video game Red Dead Redemption 2. In 1997 he suffered from a major depressive episode (MDE) and was hospitalized, but was soon back on his feet after help from Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. Graham also won a Grammy in the category Best Spoken Word Album for Children.

Wayne was born Marion Robert Morrison on May 26, 1907, was born in Winterset, Iowa, but grew up in Southern California. After losing his football scholarship to the University of Southern California due to a bodysurfing accident, he began working for the Fox Film Corporation.

He appeared mostly in small parts, but his first leading role came in Raoul Walsh's Western The Big Trail (1930), an early widescreen film epic that was a box-office failure. He played leading roles in numerous B movies during the 1930s, most of them also Westerns, without becoming a major name. John Ford's Stagecoach (1939) made Wayne a mainstream star, and he starred in 142 motion pictures altogether. According to biographer Ronald Davis, "John Wayne personified for millions the nation's frontier heritage."
Wayne's other roles in Westerns included a cattleman driving his herd on the Chisholm Trail in Red River (1948), a Civil War veteran whose niece is abducted by a tribe of Comanches in The Searchers (1956), a troubled rancher competing with a lawyer (James Stewart) for a woman's hand in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962), and a cantankerous one-eyed marshal in True Grit (1969), for which he received the Academy Award for Best Actor. Lakota Woman is a memoir by Mary Brave Bird, a Sicangu Lakota who was formerly known as Mary Crow Dog. Reared on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota, she describes her childhood and young adulthood, which included many historical events associated with the American Indian Movement.
Lakota Woman describes Brave Bird's participation in the 1972 Trail of Broken Treaties and the 1973 Indian Occupation at Wounded Knee. She also writes about her marriage to Leonard Crow Dog, the spiritual leader of AIM. She describes her involvement in the Native American Church.
Richard Erdoes (1912-2008) edited the book. Born in Austria and author of over 21 books, Erdoes was a longtime friend of Brave Bird and also helped her publish her other memoir, Ohitika Woman.
Lakota Woman won the 1991 American Book Award.
The book inspired the 1994 film Lakota Woman: Siege at Wounded Knee produced by TNT and Jane Fonda. It starred Irene Bedard who would also later provide the speaking voice of Pocahontas in the 1995 Disney animation Pocahontas.

After establishing himself in the Detroit hip hop scene, he broke through into mainstream success with a rap rock sound before shifting his performance style to country rock. A self-taught musician, he has said he can play every instrument in his backing band and has overseen production on all but two of his albums.
Kid Rock started his music career as a rapper and DJ, releasing his debut album Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast (1990), on Jive Records. His subsequent independent releases The Polyfuze Method (1993) and Early Mornin' Stoned Pimp (1996) saw him developing a more distinctive style, which was fully realized on his breakthrough album Devil Without a Cause (1998), which sold 14 million copies. He was born on July 24, 1899, belonging to the Tsleil-Waututh (Salish) tribe, in a settlement near North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
