Our first cucumber, picked tonight and a flood of emotions.
I get pretty emotional over it! This is my first garden that I have ever had myself.
I grew up helping my dad in his garden as he would grow just about everything, including grapes in our Kansas backyard.
2 years without him next month and I wish I could share everything I am doing now with him.
This one’s for you dad! ❤️
Then the emotion is followed with joy, because this garden is in one of the 8 corrals my grandma had here on the homestead that is now my home!
She would be so proud of everything happening here as we cleanup, renovate, and bring love and light back into a home she loved for many years.
