The Transit of Venus Anniversary Party is an open house, salon style celebration for and the historic 1874 home where we host it. At 7:30 pm, architecture historian Peter Gabak opens the evening with a presentation on Gilded Age interiors, and at 9:30 pm, RPI PHD candidate Nina Isabelle will lead a playful UFO conjuring. Throughout the evening, an ambient video installation inspired by the 1874 astronomical transit of the planet Venus will be playing. Small artworks, zines & spells from Kiddie Pool participants, plus Venusian masks will be for sale to support Kiddie Pool programming for 2025.

There will be plenty of projections, curations & libations throughout the evening.
