Alamosa High’s Samantha Maestas and Jeremiah DeLaCerda have their hands raised as state champions at Saturday’s Colorado High School state wrestling tournament. Also crowned state champion were Gizelle Meraz who attends Center High and wrestles for Alamosa, Aaron Valadez of Center High and Parker Buhr of Centauri High. Alamosa finished runner up in the Class 3A boys team standings and got state runnerup performances from Anthony Meder, Uriah Martinez and Dyson Woodward.
