The answer: ALLLL THE THINGS. And if I have my way, I’ll master so many more recipes in 2025. It feels so good to eat bread again 😍

This is one of our very favorite meals! Serve on its own or over rice. If you have your own version of this, I’d love to check out your recipe. Mine is below!
Ingredients:
- Sesame oil (measure with your heart)
- 2 tsp celery salt
- 1/2 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 green onions, diced
- Carrots (as many as you want), julienned or diced
- 5 garlic cloves, pressed or finely minced
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 can water chestnuts, diced
- 1/4 head of cabbage, chopped
- 3 Tbsp coconut aminos (can also use soy sauce, just be mindful of the sodium and consider using celery seed instead of celery salt)
- 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
- Pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 2 Tbsp sriracha
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet. Add the celery salt (or seed if using), diced onion (including the white parts of the green onion), and carrot and saute until tender. Add garlic and saute another minute or so. Add ground turkey and ginger and brown the meat. Once the meat is browned, add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Cook until the cabbage is tender.
While it is cooking, make the sriracha mayo by combining roughly 1/4 cup mayo and 2Tbsp sriracha. Use this ratio if you need to make more. Top your egg roll in a bowl with the sriracha mayo, sesame seeds, and the green parts of the green onion. Enjoy!

It all started with the kids wanting to introduce Dad to one of our favorite local spots. Next thing I know, we’re hiking along a river and the views are gorgeous. We challenged the kids to just stop moving, stay quiet, and take in the beauty around them. It was a challenge I needed too. I’m the least adventurous person in my family so this is not something that I would have done on my own. But I’m so glad I followed their lead and just said yes. This might just become a new family favorite outing 🤍

2024 was WILD. We spent the bulk of the year in the trenches of deployment, finally found the perfect homeschool curriculum for us, travelled
internationally with the kids (we visited 4 countries!), had a few major medical events, got real familiar with Murphy’s Law, and experienced an incredible amount of love and support. It was definitely one for the history books!

Lessons were learned this year 😂🫠 we started this last year and a couple days before Christmas Eve this year, our daughter said, “Will y’all wrap us in again?” 😂we knew exactly what she meant and of course we did! We’ll make it easier on ourselves next year though.

Part 2 | The Viral Candied Cranberries
I know there are lots of ways to make these and twice as many opinions BUT this is how I made mine and I loved how they turned out. Realistically, will I make them again? No. Well, maybe next year at Christmas. 😂it was a fun little experiment and I have no regrets!
