embers of the ONU administration, faculty or staff. Review meetings are held every Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the basement of the McInstosh Center. On Saturday, October 19th, the team faced Capital University at Kerscher Stadium and played a strong game. Senior Emma Bowman tied the game in the second half with a free kick after a long period without scores from either team. Even though Capital scored the leading point at the end of the game and won 2-1, the Polar Bears displayed a strong defense and constantly kept the ball moving down the field.

After a decade of advising Northern Review, Dr. Shane Tilton has mentored many budding journalists during their time at the university. He has outlined what are, in his opinion, some of the school newspaper’s most defining articles in the past ten years.

“I have had more than a hundred students over that time give their energy and passion to this humble organization,” wrote Dr. Tilton. “It seems appropriate now to highlight the stories that encapsulate the spirit of collegiate journalism at Ohio Northern University.”
