Happyland Music Alliance was formed in 2014 to promote live music in the Ada area. In 2016 we formed the HMA Foundation, a non-profit entity. Our mission has been to “promote, perpetuate and encourage the music, arts, culture, and heritage of Ada, Oklahoma and surrounding communities through festivals, programs and other cultural, educational, civic and economic activities.”
We have had the great pleasure of promoting local talent and providing entertainment opportunities for the community via such regular events as Music in the Park, East End Eats and AdaFest, as well as numerous other local events and activities. Ada has a rich history of talented individuals and it has truly been an honor to be a part of that for almost a decade.
But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. We have made the difficult decision to no longer host AdaFest, East End Eats and Music in the Park. Instead, we will be putting all of our time, effort and resources into the planning of an exciting event in 2024. Stay tuned to our various social media accounts...you won't want to miss it!
We offer our gratitude to all of the musicians, artists, volunteers and generous sponsors, as well as everyone who has attended our events and offered their support over the years. We trust that Ada will continue to provide fertile ground for music and the arts and we look forward to seeing what comes next.
