The day and life of making shirts for customers that want custom shirts.

First of all I try to have shirts on hand so you don't have to wait....

Bulk order of shirts so I don't have to pay shipping $150 to $700

The customer wants a custom design or a design tweaked. The design that I had to find because the customer doesn't know how to find it, sends me just a screenshot of something that took me like 10 mins of research and I had to buy it (didn't charge the customer) $1.50 to $5 (nevermind the years of learning how to do all this)

Got the design but the customer wants it to be a different shade of red and words added or subtracted. 20 mins to 45 mins of tweaking it and then 6 messages back and forth all day waiting on an approval because the customer is working. (I should be charging for this.)

Finally approved 6 hours later.

Printer $4k still paying on it
Film $135
ink $100
Heat press $200

Print time/ shake and bake 5 to 7 min for one print
Press 30 sec.

The customer only ordered one custom shirt, my price for shirt $20

Customer that's really expensive!

I spent all day making one shirt and $20 is too much.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. I love designing that's why I do it but just want to put it in perspective. ❤️

Attention!!!!
As of the first of the month, if you do not order 25 prints or more or have a customer order that involves a design or editing that I charge for, I will not be taking them via email or messenger. I have a DTF gang sheet builder on my website and that will be the only way I will take any orders under 25 prints. I appreciate everyone but I have really grown and having to answer and create invoices has been taking up a lot of time that cuts into my turn around.
