Frontier Texas honored the museum’s founder, H.C. Zachry with the Heritage Award to honor a lifetime of hard work and dedication to Frontier Texas, to community development, and for preserving and promoting our shared heritage. The evening included a steak dinner, catered by Perini Ranch Steakhouse, live music performed by The Self Family Band, a one-night only art exhibit displaying H.C. The Final Scene: Located inside The Shed Market, this mural was painted by Kameron Alexander in honor of Hollis Dean. Hollis started the original Shed restaurant on the family farm in Wingate, TX.
