BMR's EIGHT PILLAR ACTIVITIES
1. BMR Give Back:
Under Give Back, BMR identifies social service priorities (in health, education, agriculture, and infrastructures) to complement government efforts. BMR Give Back partly utilises BMR Social Scheme Membership and Subscriptions. For Prioritisation, Contact Dr Adrian Beinebyabo on 0772404715
2. BMR Social Scheme:
Social Scheme enables BMR members to support each other in times of need. A Member qualifies for Social Support only if he or she has;
a) paid a one-time membership of 30K,
b) has paid Annual Subscription of 30K (eza buri mwaka),
c) has contributed for others for atleast 13 times,
d) has contributed atleast 2 out of immediate last 5 collections,
e) if they lose a biological parent, or a biological child, or a spouse, or him/herself.

3. BMR Meet N Greet:
Meet N Greet enables us to meet, dine together, laugh, connect and network amongst ourselves worldwide through WhatsApp Chat, Meet N Greet Events, Area Chapters, Product Marketing, Football and Selfie Moments.

4. BMR Investment Club:
BMR-IC pools resources from its members for collective investment in non-credit ventures for member economic benefit. BMR-IC runs a separate WhatsApp platform, leadership structure, and will be registered as a company with BMR identity. BMR-IC requires Membership of UGX 100K and Annual Subscriptions of UGX 50K. 5. BMR Learning:
Under Learning, BMR has segmented its members and/or provided platforms for sharing and learning on our history, our cultures and our identity. We provide for sessions on Runyakitara, history on anything including our Buyanja, "who is a mushekyi" and promote BMR Magazine Project.

6. BMR Emergency Response:
Under emergency response, BMR on approval of ExCom may respond to a disaster on a community service or a facility of mutual benefit to Buyanja Community as a whole and not on privately owned property. We supported Rwentuha Primary School under emergency response to rebuild a classroom block that had been destroyed by a windstorm and hailstorm. 7. BMR Agri-Business:
BMR provides a platform for Agri-Business development for the members. We organize model farm visits, training opportunities, and provision of Agri inputs when available. We currently have cocoa and coffee seedlings available. To Join and Benefit, Contact Ian Kaharata on 0772555881
8. BMR Scholarships:
Scholarships support the education of AbanyaBuyanja especially at University level for the good future of Buyanja people. We are currently supervising 25 scholarships at the African Renewal University (AfRU) on diploma and Bachelors courses. To benefit, contact Vincent Byamukama on 0701445439
