today in our Star Profile we introduce to you Tchongo The Magnificent (DRC) Tchongo Katchetche Chris (Tchongo the Magnificent) is a 24 year old Rapper singer songwriter drummer, dancer born and raised in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. He started writing and singing in a church choir when he was 7 years old. He later joined a breakdancing crew and started rap battles when he was 12 years old. Freestyling these battles with inspirations like Eminem, Tchongo specialized in a very fast style of rapping. Along with this craft, he manages to switch between streams with every bar of a track, resulting in unmistakable epics during live performances. In May 2017, Tchongo came to Uganda to explore new musical opportunities and joined the collective Hakuna Kulala. Since then he has performed at the Nyege Nyege festival in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and performs regularly at shows and festivals in Kampala and all over East African
