NegoVille pictures started when four film students, Okurut “Nego” Paul, Kasenge Moen, Babalanda James and Namazzi Harriet, started a small film production group which they initially named Afro haven films on 15th April 2013 while at the Uganda Film and television Institute. In 2014, they released their debut award winning feature film Broken Silence (Best screenplay PIFF 2014) which also scooped numerous nominations in various film festivals around the world, this set a character and tone of creativity and influence that would later become rebranded to NegoVille pictures
Since those early days, NegoVille Pictures has amassed an impressive legacy based on quality audio visual productions ranging from short films, feature films, documentaries, music videos, Television commercials and Television shows while creating a diversified entertainment company with an unparalleled depth and breadth. The company’s consistency and success are built on a foundation of creative relationships with many of Africa’s leading stars and producers and an unwavering dedication to excellence. Today, NegoVille Pictures boasts of working on nearly 12 African feature films, and tens of short films, television shows, music videos, television commercials and documentaries.
