Proximity to the Toilet: The bathroom layout often places the sink and toilet in close proximity. This can lead to contact between your toothbrush and airborne particles and water splashes, increasing the risk of contamination.

Humidity: Bathrooms are typically humid environments, promoting the growth of bacteria and mold on toothbrushes. Storing your toothbrush in a dry area, outside the bathroom, is recommended. If you must keep it in the bathroom, place it far from the toilet to reduce contamination risk.

To maintain good dental hygiene, rinse your toothbrush thoroughly before and after use, use a toothbrush cover, and replace it every three to four months or sooner if the bristles are worn.
