Bubaale Primary School Headteacher Arrested for Issuing False PLE Exam Results.
The headteacher of Bubaale Primary School in Bushenyi was apprehended by UNEB and handed over to the police for issuing fraudulent self-generated results.
The headteacher appeared for a hearing at UNEB due to suspected malpractice, resulting in the withholding of exam results for 114 candidates.
Information obtained from UNEB spokesperson Jennifer Kalule revealed that during the hearing, it was discovered that the school administrators provided incorrect self-drafted results on testimonials forms.
Kalule mentioned that UNEB learned that all 114 affected candidates used these testimonials with inaccurate results to enroll in senior one.
Kalule stated in a telephone interview, "We are still gathering more information on this case."

Kisoro district leaders on Monday clashed over the endorsement of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the sole presidential candidate in the 2026-2031 general elections.
As the district council session was set to kick off, Philemon Mateke, the former Minister of State for Regional Affairs emerged with a banner bearing the words “Kisoro District Leaders Endorse HE. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for NRM Sole Candidate 2026-2031, a visionary leader and securing your future".
Mateke ordered all NRM leaders in the council to sign on the banner. Mateke said that those who decline to sign will be judged as traitors of the party.
However, Mateke’s move was strongly rejected by a majority of the councilors who questioned why such a matter was sneaked into a council sitting instead of popularizing it at the party offices.

Fumigation exercise at Nakasongola district headquarters
In Nakasongola, the Task Force has closed the district headquarters for two days starting today to disinfect all offices after four staff tested positive for the COVID 19.
The task force has also ordered selected staff to return to work on Wednesday 30 June with negative COVID-19 test results.
Currently the district has registered 103 COVID 19 cases of which eleven are health workers .
Five people have died of COVID 19.
