Just learnt of the violent abduction this evening, of comrade Achileo Kivumbi, the head of Security at the National Unity Platform Headquarters. Apparently, several heavily armed men, moving in a Noah Reg. No. UAP 164P trailed him and manhandled him as he approached his home. They immediately started beating him up as they dragged him into the vehicle and drove away. His pleas to inform his family members fell on deaf ears. He has been taken to an unknown destination. We do not know what state he is in right now given what onlookers describe as an extremely violent abduction. The criminal regime continues to violate every human right there is in the book.

EXCLUSIVE: Mpuuga, Among hire faded journalist Lubowa Saava to fabricate 1.7bn story

“When you fight corruption, corruption fights back,”-Joel Ssenyonyi stated recently.

After realizing that the censure motion is tremendously devouring his reputation and political career, Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba has contracted vlogger Dean Lubowa Saava to embark on a campaign to malign the LoP Joel Ssenyonyi. The speaker through her PPS Kaaya Rajab had contacted Bwowe Ivan to take up the $10,000 job but the former Makerere Guild feared that embarking on such a campaign would compromise his stay in the US where he is apparently pursuing a Mandela fellowship course. Bwowe fears that associating with a US sanctioned speaker would cause his dismissal from the course and a potential deportation back to the pot-holed streets of Kampala.

The deal therefore ended up in the hands of Dean Lubowa Saava, a former NTV journalist who was sacked for sexually harassing a toilet cleaner. Saava had a terrible reputation of blackmail and extortion of sources within the field, reports that didn’t go well with his editors who later recommended his expulsion after breaching the code of conduct when he sexually assaulted a cleaner at the Serena based NTV.

Inside the UGX 40m deal, Lubowa is guaranteed parliament security headed by a one Denis Obua, a CT police officer who alongside two other officers from the Parliament police division shall watch over his movements till the contract ends. Lubowa is also guaranteed legal protection that shall be offered by a Mmengo pro-Mpuuga lawyer Isaac. N. Mpanga, a celebrated hater of NUP and Bobi Wine who has vowed to offer probono services to Saava if the PACE advocates civil defamation suit makes its way to court.

Mpuuga communicates directly to Dean Lubowa and sometimes meets him at Katikiro Mayiga owned Mengo based Reming Hotel. Saava has so far got 50% of the money and the first installment was delivered by Mpuuga’s half-witted brother known as Kagumba Mitimbo

Dean Lubowa Saava: Mpuuga’s new hired gun has history of fraud

Dean Lubowa Saava is an unscrupulous character whose job is to extort money from whoever falls for his blackmail;

1. While working at NTV, he was expelled for obtaining money from Asians to run a story, which he didn't do.

2. On February 23, 2017, Dean Lubowa Saava was arrested by the Special Forces Command Unit as he attempted scam the head of the Shia Community in Uganda, Omar Bongo Patur, then the LCV chairperson of Mayuge district.

3. On 10th March, 2018 , Katwe police station arrested Dean Lubowa Saava for fraud, Human trafficking and obtaining money by false pretence.Lubowa reportedly used the agency Global Skills International Limited, to receive money from people who expected jobs in return and he switched off his phones.

4. Between 2017 & 2018, Dean Lubowa saava obtained money from atleast 37 unsuspecting youths claiming that he would get them jobs in the gulf and he disappeared. Here is the case file registered at Katwe Police Station under SD REF. 47/05/03/2018.

Lastly;
Complaints about Saava’s brand of journalism have forced him out of several media houses he has worked for in the past. He has worked for a string of media houses but somehow, there has not lasted in one place for long. Among media houses, he worked for as a reporter, including CBS FM, NTV, NBS, BBS – where he has left for one reason or the other…
