The CEO of Apex FM Mr.Bwire John Frank has officially launched Apex fans party scheduled for 28-01-2024 (Sunday) at Apex Fm Gardens , Hajji Tamachi Place, Plot 02 , Jinja City.

The purpose of the party is "to thank Apex fans for supporting the radio, constitute new leadership, get feedback from the audience & commence development agenda for the new year" .

While speaking to Apex Press Unit, Mr.Bwire revealed that the theme of the party is " empowering each other for growth & development".

He also emphasised that the day will be full of fun, entertainment, meals & meaningful engagement.

Another attack!

The People's Government Minister of Security, and former Member of Parliment For Kawempe South, Hon.Munyagwa Mubarak, escaped death, at around 3 am, while at his home in Kyengera Town Council.

It's allegedly said that Munyagwa was attacked by armed and panga feral bandits, who left him with wounds and killed his Security Guard Benjamin Mpaka.

PRESS STATEMENT

January 3rd 2024

The Old Kampala Police are currently conducting a comprehensive investigation into a tragic incident involving the attempted murder of Pastor Alloysious Bugingo from the House of Prayer Ministry and the unfortunate killing of his bodyguard, Muhumuza Richard. At approximately 9 PM on January 2nd, 2024, unidentified assailants opened fire on Pastor Bugingo's vehicle, registered as PRAIZ GOD, along Namungona , Zone 2 , kasubi Rubaga Division Kampala at Bwalakata Junction along National Housing Road , before swiftly escaping the scene on a motorcycle.

Despite sustaining injuries during the attack, Pastor Aloysious Bugingo managed to drive the vehicle to Mulago Hospital. Regrettably, his bodyguard, Muhumuza Richard, succumbed to the assault and was confirmed dead upon arrival at the hospital. Currently, Pastor Bugingo is undergoing medical treatment and is under close monitoring.

Upon an immediate response to the incident, the police discovered that the scene had been tampered with. Statements from eyewitnesses have been diligently recorded, and the deceased's body has been conveyed to the City Mortuary at Mulago for a thorough postmortem examination.

In our active pursuit of justice, we are thoroughly reviewing CCTV footage to identify the assailants. Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
