“Can Amita” are two Luo words which is loosely translated as pain and suffering because of one’s own faults. The Can Amita story is about a grandfather who is facing difficulties in raising teenagers (his children and grandchildren) single-handedly. The old man regrets and blames himself for his suffering.

Can Amita’s instrumental was inspired by 2Pac’s “Do for Love”, sound engineered by Rax and a short film by Gulu Film Production
