Apac Olympic athletic championship tournament that happened at Apac boma ground sponsored by the Mp Apac Municipality and East african parliamentary athletic champion Hon Patrick Ocan and the guest was the women world champion Docus Nzikuru

The tournament was between the 4 divisions within the municipality which is Agulu, Akere, Arocha and Atik.

There were number of game played including bicycle raiding competition for men, raiding bicycle with a pot on the head for the women and pulling ropes

Amongst the competitors, the winners were awarded gifts such as brand new bicycles, sourspan, money among others.

News has landed our desk that the hit maker, Lil Square also known as Ogwang Ilibo has terminated his contract with Awio Scrap Dealers.

It has been month ever since Awio came out proclaiming to be a born again and a wanna be pastor as per his social media posts.

This has so far left Awio with limited movements and also connections with the World Music.

Tourist attractions in Apac district:

1. Olum's footprint on Ibuje Hill(Tyen Olum): This is another cultural and historical site that features a large footprint on a rock, believed to belong to Olum, the legendary ancestor of the Lango people. According to the oral tradition, Olum came from the sky and landed on Ibuje Hill, where he left his footprint. The site is considered sacred by the Lango and is a place of pilgrimage and worship.

2. Apolo Milton Obote's grave: This is a cultural and historical site that marks the burial place of Apolo Milton Obote, the first Prime Minister and second President of Uganda. He was born in Akokoro sub-county in Apac district and died in 2005 in South Africa. His grave is located in his ancestral home in Akokoro and is visited by many people who pay tribute to his legacy.

3. Hill Side Palm plantations: This is an agro-tourism attraction that showcases the cultivation and processing of palm oil, a major cash crop in the district. The plantations are located on the hillsides of Akokoro and offer scenic views of the surrounding landscape.

4. Maruzi Ranch: This is a natural attraction that covers an area of 64 square miles and hosts a variety of wildlife, such as buffaloes, antelopes, monkeys, and birds. It was established in 1968 as a government ranch for breeding cattle, but later became a wildlife reserve. It is located about 19 miles from Apac town.

5. Lake Kyoga, Lake Bisina, and Lake Kwania: These are large freshwater lakes that offer opportunities for fishing, boating, and birdwatching. Lake Kyoga is the second largest lake in Uganda, covering an area of 1,720 square miles. Lake Bisina is part of the Lake Kyoga system and is home to the endangered fox's weaver, a bird species endemic to Uganda. Lake Kwania is also connected to Lake Kyoga and has several islands that are inhabited by local communities.

Blood Moon, the musician in question, had received the money from Eddy Kenzo, the president of the Uganda Musicians Federation, with the intention of delivering it to the family. However, the money never reached its intended destination, and Blood Moon was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for its disappearance. This shocking story raises questions about honesty.

SAD NEWS: Elyak Stephen aka Yakish official who is the young brother to Mc Yaks has today morning passed on after suffering fatal complications following a Motor Accident yesterday.

Elyak who was a resident of Ibuje Sub-County Apac district was born on 25th May 2000. He was son to Muzee Martin adoli who is a teacher at maruzi seed, also a nephew to Elyak Bosco the current Apac District education officer.
He went to Maruzi Seed S.S Apac and later joined Spear Motors for auto motive mechanics.
