Кто умеет бегать по воде?

Такой феноменальной способностью обладает живущая в американских тропиках ящерица шлемоносный василиск.

Она имеет необычайно развитые задние лапы, при помощи которых василиск может стремительно мчаться по поверхности воды, развивая порой скорость до 12 км/ч.

Подобный «трюк» ящерица проделывает, спасаясь бегством от врагов или охотясь за насекомыми. Передние лапы ящерица прижимает к телу, а хвост использует как балансир и руль.
