EMPR is a community initiative that, in the spirit of the Maidan, focuses on providing reliable, precise information about events in Ukraine. EMPR sees Ukraine as democratic and unified, free of foreign pressure or influence, led by a Government that bears responsibility before its people, where a society is forming that will uphold the rule of law, equal rights for all its citizens, and opportuni
ty to shape their own future, free of corruption and political oppression. EMPR takes seriously its responsibility to provide accurate, objective news about events in Ukraine, as well as providing information on issues related to Ukraine, such as nation- building and a multi-ethnic free society, by establishing and maintaining links with the press, news and analysis sources that are non-partisan, non-confessional, unrelated to any special-purpose groups, and that work to oppose and expose disinformation that negatively affects Ukraine and its people.
