Ukrainian Foreign Ministry warns countries of the world against buying stolen Ukrainian grain from Russia
The invaders have already stolen about 500,000 tons of grain from Ukraine, and almost all ships leaving Sevastopol with grain are carrying stolen Ukrainian products.
The shipments of grain sold by the Russian Federation may contain partly or completely the Ukrainian harvest stolen by the Russian occupation authorities.
The theft of Ukrainian grain by Russia is confirmed by both numerous testimonies of Ukrainian farmers and documentary evidences.
"We call on the international community to tighten economic sanctions in order to stop Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, prevent a humanitarian catastrophe and worsen the situation with food security in the world," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

In the ports of the Danube, grain transshipment has risen in price four times in a month
In Ukrainian ports on the Danube River, the cost of grain cargo transshipment, which was not in high demand before the Russian military invasion and was about $5-6 per ton, has increased to $15 per ton in Aprli due to the blockade of key Ukrainian seaports and will continue to rise in price. As of May, the cost of transshipment is already estimated at 20 euros per ton.
“I won’t talk about the businessmen who profit from this, but in a few days there will definitely be names. The state gets practically nothing from this. I understand about earnings. But a fourfold increase is no longer a market, but a blackmail,” - says Vadim Denisenko, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the Russian Federation, deputies of the legislative assembly decided on the illegal seizure and export of agricultural products from the occupied territories of the Kherson region.

“Since there is only one cucumber production plant in the region, and the lack of other vegetables and grain crops as a result of the introduction of foreign sanctions is felt acutely not only in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, but everywhere at the federal level, the expropriation of the surpluses of last year’s and this year’s harvest from farmers in the Kherson region will become one among the tools to provide assistance to small businesses, consumer cooperatives," the decision of the Legislative Assembly says.

The occupiers also said that "similar experience will be able to successfully implement in the future."
