The Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson is renowned for challenging people's perceptions of the world around them, and in recent years, he has actively engaged with social issues, including the climate crisis. Drawing inspiration from deep explorations of "perception," embodied experience, and ecology, Eliasson uses movement, color, and light in his works to invite audiences into unique, interactive experiences.

The exhibition A Harmonious Cycle of Interconnected Nows, launched by Azabudai Hills, marks Olafur Eliasson's latest showcase in Japan. This exhibition not only features his sculptures, installations, and photography but also highlights the intricate connections between humanity and the natural environment through the flow of light and shadow, further exploring our shared responsibility for the future.

This book was published on the occasion of the exhibition Andy Warhol: Early Hand-Painted Works at Gagosian, 980 Madison Avenue, New York. It focuses on the artist’s hand-painted compositions created between 1960 and 1962. Early works such as Superman and False Plate (both 1961) were painted entirely freehand; however, from 1962 onward, Warhol frequently projected images from printed media, traced them in pencil onto canvas, and then painted over his outlines—a method that eventually led to his adoption of the silk-screening process. The publication features an interview between Gagosian director Mark Francis and Ivan Karp, the legendary art dealer who worked with Warhol early in his career.

Never afraid of getting his hands dirty in his creative workshop, Dafi Kühne embraces the labor involved in the entire process of creating a poster, from initial idea to finished product. Fusing modern means with the century-old tradition of letterpress, he forms a new vocabulary for how to communicate through type and form in a truly contemporary way. In 2012, Philippe Séclier visited Tadao Ando’s Church of the Light and was inspired to embark on a nine-year journey photographing 130 of Ando's buildings around the world. His work captures Ando's genius in siting and composition, with black-and-white images arranged like mosaics on the page, reflecting Ando's philosophy of structure and geometry. Organized loosely by chronology, the photographs span a wide geographic and thematic range, from transit stations in Japan to museums in the U.S. and Europe, and from religious structures to commercial spaces. Séclier's concise texts accompany the images, highlighting Ando's masterful use of light and shadow to evoke spiritual depth. An appendix details the global reach of Ando's work.
