世新廣播電臺是我國最早由學校附設供學生實習研究的廣播電臺，也是目前唯一同時擁有AM調幅FM調頻與網路廣播和智慧型手機APP行動收聽(Android &iOS&BB&Win)的學校電臺。民國47年9月1日記者節，AM729調幅廣播正式對外播音，90年3月26日廣播節，FM88.1調頻廣播正式對外播音，92年5月14日網路廣播正式線上播出，102年10月15日正式推出智慧型手機APP行動收聽，朝國際化與全方位廣播邁進。
電臺調幅廣播發射機與備份機，均為目前國
內廣播界廣泛使用之全晶體廣播發射機，發
射區涵蓋基隆、台北、桃園等縣市。
調頻FM88.1開播後，電臺擁有AM、FM播音室
各一間、錄音室數間，成音設備新穎齊全；
87學年度起率先引進AUDIOVAULT數位自動播出系統，至今共架設七個工作站暨數位非線
性剪輯工作站七組，既方便電臺錄音、剪輯
、編排節目做自動化播出並增進新聞編播速
率，提
昇成音、傳送之品質，使實習同學得
及時汲取廣播新科技，面對日後激烈的職場
競爭，有更優渥之條件。
世新電臺的節目約可分為：新聞、綜藝、
教學、音樂、公共服務等，內容豐富多彩。
為提昇節目素質，電臺亦主動與政府相關單
位聯合製播各類節目，以配合政府施政。
另為服務外僑做好國民外交，88年5月起，衛星直播英國BBC之節目，90年又陸續與澳洲國家廣播電臺、法國之聲合作，使節目更多元亦逐步邁向國際化。
This station is Taiwan's oldest on-campus radio broadcasting outpost launched specifically for students as a practicum, also Taiwan's only on-campus station with both AM, FM, and online broadcasting services including APP on smart phones running on Android, IOS, BB and Win systems. Two years later on May 14, digital online
broadcasting was launched to heighten the station's global reach. On October 15, 2013,
smart phones APP was officially launched. The station's AM radio transmitter and backup transmitter are of the same professional standards as the solid state units extensively used at radio stations across Taiwan, with an
extensive broadcast range covering Keelung, Taipei, and Taoyuan. Since the launch of FM88.1, the station expanded its facilities to include one AM studio, one FM studio, and several recording
studios. The station is also equipped with innovative, robust audio mixing systems. And, in the beginning of the academic year 1999, the station unveiled the AudioVAULT automation
systems; as of now, seven workstations, and seven digital non-linear editing workstations are in operation to facilitate automated recording, editing, and programming, while improving the station's news transmission efficiency. The new installations have boosted the station's sound mixing and broadcast services,and expedited interns and trainees' learning of new broadcast technologies. These experiences enable them to be a cut above other competitors in the workplace. The station boasts a fantastic programming schedule, including news, entertainment, education, music, and public services. To improve service quality, the station
also initiates partnerships with government agencies to co-produce a variety of public-interest programs to raise policy awareness. Also, to serve Taiwan's expatriates and encourage goodwill diplomacy, the station began broadcasting BBC programs. Two years later, the station launched an alliance with Radio Australia and Radio France Internationale to diversify its content and globalize its broadcast reaches.
