12/100 days of practice || Oops 🙊 😬 I accidentally forgot to share this. But you can see my sense of achievement at the end when I finally managed to record it without stopping or making mistakes. I think it took me 6 or 8 rounds to clean this up. As always, it was nice working on an Oscar Peterson exercise!

13/100 days of practice || Oscar Peterson’s Minuet No. 2 after nine takes.

This Minuet is one of my favorite exercises so far.

CONFESSION TIME: I find social media draining. If possible, I would like to quit it.

So what’s this all for, then?

Just for show?

NOT AT ALL.

I believe in the power of consistency and perseverance. Practice makes progress, and we will reap that if we don’t give up.

Sometimes, We might not be getting the results we want. That’s fine. We have expectations, and we tend to set them too high.

What’s important is getting the progress that we need. No matter how small it is, it’s still progress. These are things we’ll cherish in the long run.

I’ve been practicing Moon River these past few days.

If you’re learning an instrument or any craft, come and join me tonight for a live practice session. You don’t have to listen to my playing (You can put me on mute lol). We can be “practice buddies.”

Sometimes it’s more fun to do things with other people, especially when you lack motivation.

The live stream will run from 10-11 PM GMT +8.
30 minutes - practice time
5 minutes - play the song
25 minutes - chat/hang out (music/creativity talks)

If you have kids, let them listen/watch too! Music is proven to do wonders for their brain development.

I passed Berklee's audition and received my letter of admission. When I found out about it, I immediately started raising funds!

After two crazy weeks of hustling, God gave His answer to the prayers and work planted in faith.

I've seen how He's such a good father and a great provider through the support of the people who helped me cover for the tuition and housing fee deposit.

He has been very faithful to His word and promise.
