☑️Choose the appropriate torque adapter for the job and attach it to the torque wrench.

☑️Set the desired torque value on the wrench by turning the handle until the desired value appears on the scale.

☑️Tighten the bolt or nut until you hear and feel a "click" from the wrench, indicating that the desired torque value has been reached.

Ready to upgrade your bike grips? 👨‍🔧 Sumart Tools

Follow these simple steps from Sumart DIY episode 02 to install your new bike grips and get back on the road in no time!

Step 1: Remove old bike grips by using a screwdriver or compressed air to loosen the grip.

Step 2: Clean the handlebar with rubbing alcohol or soapy water to remove any debris.

Step 3: Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol or hairspray inside the new grip.

Step 4: Slide the new grip onto the handlebar and position it in the desired location.

Step 5: Wait for the alcohol or hairspray to dry and secure the grip by tightening the screw or end cap.

Step 6: Repeat the process for the other grip.

Step 7: Test the grip by giving it a firm twist to ensure it's securely in place.

Sumart DIY_episode 01_Changing Chainring with Torque Wrench

1. Remove old chainring bolts with a chainring nut wrench or 5mm Allen key.
2. Take off old chainring and clean crank arm.
3. Install new chainring and hand-thread bolts through holes.
4. Tighten bolts to manufacturer's torque setting using a Sumart TK-5 torque wrench.
5. Check for proper installation by spinning chainring, testing gear changes, and taking a short test ride.
