Utilizing high end, state of the art equipment for each project, as well as the unparalleled skill and expertise of their team, is what makes this brand a force to be reckoned with. Audio Rose leads by example in providing quality production value no matter the size and cost of the project. The story of Audio Rose began with Christian Burkett’s (founder) instinctive passion for music. He started his journey by pursuing an education in music at the acclaimed Full Sail University (Florida, USA) and graduated in 2009 with an Associates Degree in Recording Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business. Upon his return to Trinidad and Tobago, Christian recognized opportunities in the local creative industry to provide not only music and audio services, but also develop an offering in film and visual productions. He quickly immersed himself into the space and in just a few short years, Christian earned an impressive reputation for his wealth of knowledge and technical expertise in the audiovisual industry. He began his work by doing projects in the event management space for organizations such as Flow, the Caribbean Premier League and the Tobago Jazz Experience, just to name a few. He is also one of the select talents to have worked on productions featuring massive international acts such as Beyonce Knowles, Trey Songz, Erykah Badu, Chaka Khan, Earth Wind and Fire, John Legend and many more. It took some inspiration from his father, Sean Burkett, to conceptualize and launch Audio Rose as a recording studio in 2013, which then transformed into a full service multimedia production company in the year 2016. After two years of operation, Audio Rose decided to add another worthy and experienced partner to its operations. That partner is none other than the esteemed Mervyn John. Mervyn John started his media career as an editor/camera man at the eager age of 18 at Synergy TV Entertainment. He quickly exposed his natural creative talent to his surrounding colleagues, who were ceaselessly impressed with his work ethic and project deliverables. He rose through the organizational ranks in a short number of years, after proving his capabilities, working as an associate producer/editor, master control operator, camera operator and vision mixer/director for live TV. Mervyn’s virtuosity in camera work and television broadcasting is unmatched. He possesses an astounding 15 plus years of experience with profound knowledge in multi camera setups, rigging, lighting and editing from working at organizations such as Synergy TV, WI Sports, Advance Dynamics and Flow Sports. His artistry in delivering exceptional TV broadcasts and livestreams makes him one of the most accomplished practitioners in this specialism. He has worked a slew of projects over the years, such as Machel Monday, Tobago Jazz Experience, UEFA Champions League Live broadcasts and many more. He has also worked with some of the top local artists in the music industry such as Machel Montano, Ravi B, Farmer Nappy and many others. These two individuals have been friends and colleagues for many years while working at Flow, which made the decision to join forces into a business partnership, an easy one. Their personalities complement each other creatively and professionally. Christian, being the daring trouble shooter and technological wizard, while Mervyn remains the calm, creative, camera aficionado. Together, they make a powerhouse team as co-directors of Audio Rose Productions. They both share Audio Rose’s vision of becoming a global brand dedicated to providing quality production value no matter the size and cost of the project. Their customer philosophy includes delivering a unique product involving a natural creative process cultivated through active client involvement, from initial workshop ideas to final edit. Apart from their service offering, Audio Rose is also involved in various philanthropic endeavours, including charitable ventures and mentorship and nurturing talent in the creative space.
